Period: 16th-17th century

Mei: Mumei.

Sugata: Shinogi-zukuri, tori-zori, iori-mune, with bo-hi.

Overall length: 36.54 inches (928.00 mm)

Nagasa: 27.60 inches (701.00 cm) long.

Nakago: Ubu, 8.94 inches (227.00 mm), two mekugi-ana. The yasurime are kiri and the nakago-jiri is kurijiri.

Kissaki: Chu-kissaki 1.56 inches (39.60 mm). The boshi is kaen.

Moto-haba: 1.27 inches (32.30 mm). Moto-gasane: 0.31 inches (7.80 mm). Saki-haba: 0.92 inches (23.30 mm). Saki-gasane: 0.24 inches (6.10 mm).

Sori: 0.67 inches (16.90 mm)

Hamon: Suguha.

Hada: Itame.

Blade condition:

Good. No flaws, ware, hagirae or bends.

The sword is likely to be made by smith in the Keicho to Kan'ei period in early Edo (1596-1643). Worth sending to shinsa.
